Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Materials Coordinator to manage and track project materials through procurement, receipt, storage, and issuance. You will work with Procurement, Construction, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Suppliers, and Project Management to ensure materials are available for execution.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate inventory, monitoring deliveries, and supporting receiving, inspections, and distribution to the field in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Construction Management, Engineering, or related.
• 2+ years' experience in materials management, inventory control, logistics, or construction projects.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track materials from purchase order release through delivery, receipt, storage, and issuance.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Construction, Engineering, Suppliers, and Logistics teams to align with schedules.
• Monitor material deliveries and communicate shortages, delays, or risks.
• Support receiving activities by verifying quantities and documentation against purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper material storage, handling, and distribution to the field.
