Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead transformer service projects from planning through completion in the United States, focusing on scope, schedules, budgets, and customer communication.

In this role, you will coordinate engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, manage risks, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement within the Services Division. Travel domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have work authorization to work in the United States.
• PM experience in transformer services or heavy industrial equipment.
• Bachelor's degree or an associate with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Five+ years of project management experience.
• PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of transformer service projects from initiation through closure.
• Develop project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and third-party contractors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and manage expectations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues with contingency plans.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, and provide regular updates to management.
• Manage project budgets and support cost-effective delivery.
• Support post-project reviews and process improvements within the Services Division.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
