Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead transformer service projects from planning through completion. You will oversee scope, schedules, resources, budgets, vendors, and customer communication, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

The role requires coordinating engineers, technicians, and contractors, mitigating risks, tracking KPIs, and driving continuous improvement within the Services Division. Domestic/international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Five years of project management experience with transformer services or heavy industrial equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, PM, or related field, or an associate degree with 7+ years transformer/substation experience.
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of transformer service projects from initiation through closure.
• Develop project plans with scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and third-party contractors.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, maintaining communication and expectations during execution.
