Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager within our Transformer Business Unit to lead complex, high-impact initiatives across cross-functional teams in North America. You will drive milestones, manage budgets, and ensure successful delivery for strategic customers.

Ideally you bring 5+ years of PM experience, a degree in Engineering or Business, and PMP. Remote team leadership, SAP/MS Project experience, and knowledge of transformer manufacturing are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• PMP certification preferred; Hitachi Energy PM certification within 2 years.
• Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage scope, cost, and schedules.
• Experience with SAP, MS Project, and other PM tools.
• Knowledge of transformer manufacturing and North American energy sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects with clear goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Act as the primary contact for customers and resolve escalations.
• Plan and manage scope, resources, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee project documentation for scope, budget, and risk management.
• Monitor progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks while sharing lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
