Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead transformer service projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, manage scope, budgets, risks, and customer communication, and drive continuous improvement within the Services Division.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years in project management for transformer services or heavy industrial equipment, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant field experience.
• Minimum five years of project management experience in transformer services or heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• PM certification such as PMP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of transformer service projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop project plans with scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and third-party contractors.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers and manage expectations.
