Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Manager to build and lead a Full-Time Training Team for Data Center Operations. You will oversee training for DCEO, DCO, ID, Decommissioning, and Logistics, and drive continuous improvement across programs.

The role requires strong people management, curriculum development, and experience with learning systems. Travel ~25% and a focus on safety and performance metrics are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• 2+ years of direct people management, including managing managers or senior individual contributors
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in project, program or product management with focus on technical education programs
• Experience in operations management
• 4+ years of leading training, technical instruction, or maintenance operations programs at a regional or multi-site level experience
• 4+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience
• Experience in curriculum development for international technical support organizations

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical trainers
• Manage the training programs for Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO), Data Center Operations (DCO), Infrastructure Delivery (ID), Decommissioning, and Logistics
• Implement standardized training processes that adapt to audience needs
• Create and track performance metrics for training effectiveness
• Establish communication channels between Full Time Training Team (FTT) and stakeholders
• Drive innovation through AI technology and agile methodologies
• Support the design comprehensive learning materials including exercises, tutorials, and assessments
• Measure and report training program impact
