Job summary

Amazon is seeking an innovative, customer-obsessed Technical Training Manager to own the development and implementation of a new Full-Time Training Team in CLT for Data Center Operations. You will lead a team of technical trainers, maintain lab equipment, and continuously improve training programs to meet operational demands.

The role requires strong people management, curriculum development, and experience in enterprise training programs, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 3+ years of direct people management, including managing managers or senior individual contributors experience.
• 5+ years of leading training, technical instruction, or maintenance operations programs at a regional or multi-site level experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience.
• Experience in project, program or product management with focus on technical education programs.
• Experience in operations management.
• Experience in curriculum development for international technical support organizations.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of technical trainers.
• Manage the training programs for Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO), Data Center Operations (DCO), Infrastructure Delivery (ID), Decommissioning, and Logistics.
• Implement standardized training processes that adapt to audience needs.
• Create and track performance metrics for training effectiveness.
• Establish communication channels between Full Time Training Team (FTT) and stakeholders.
• Drive innovation through AI technology and agile methodologies.
• Support the design comprehensive learning materials including exercises, tutorials, and assessments.
• Measure and report training program impactThis job will be expected to travel approximately 25% of the time
