Job summary

Cisco's Cloud Networking Product Operations Test Team in the Supply Chain Organization seeks a Test Development Engineer to lead end-to-end test development for data center switches. You will develop Python-based automation, support EMS partners, and collaborate with HW/SW/Diag Engineers and manufacturing partners.

You will design test strategies, create test plans, and drive coverage against product requirements while enabling leak-proof manufacturing tests and platforms globally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of test engineering experience with DFT techniques.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or automated hardware/software testing.
• Proficient in Python and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with version control and CI tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end test development of data center switching products.
• Develop test automation script using Python.
• Support EMS partners and product-related testing issues.
• Collaborate with product team to implement and execute test strategies, plans and processes.
• Generate product-specific test plans and drive test coverage based on requirements.
• Design, build, and deploy test platforms for global manufacturing partners.
• Analyze root causes of manufacturing yield issues and field escapes.
• Drive test-related improvement and optimization.
• Define debug processes for test engineers in manufacturing sites.
