Cisco Systems, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Test Development Engineer to own end-to-end test development for data center switching products, including test automation using Python.

The role involves collaborating with HW/SW/Diag Engineers and manufacturing partners across the NPI to EOL lifecycle to drive robust testing strategies. You will design, build and deploy test platforms, drive test coverage based on product requirements, and analyze yield issues to implement preventive measures.

Formación

• 4+ years of test engineering experience with DFT techniques and knowledge of Cisco or industry-standard testing methodologies.
• Proficient in programming with Python and Bash.
• Strong adherence to coding standards.
• Familiarity with version control and CI tools such as Github and Jenkins.
• Experience in manufacturing and hardware testing with debugging and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end test development of data center switching products and development of test automation scripts using Python.
• Support EMS partners and product-related testing issues; collaborate to implement test strategies, plans and processes.
• Generate product-specific test plans and drive test coverage based on product requirements; design and deploy test platforms for Cisco's global manufacturing partner.
• Analyze manufacturing yield issues and field escapes; drive corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Specify, develop, and procure test equipment and fixtures; define debugging processes for manufacturing sites.
