Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Designer to join our Data Center CoE.

You will work on BIM/CAD design tasks, creating 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit or AutoCAD, focusing on low-voltage telecom, AV, security, and control integrations for mission-critical facilities. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience designing low voltage systems for high-performing commercial, industrial, or mission-critical/data center buildings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, highly organized, self-starter.
• Ability to travel to project sites.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute BIM/CAD design tasks across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Produce 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit or AutoCAD.
• Design low-voltage systems including telecom, audiovisual, security, and controls.
• Meet schedules while ensuring design quality and QA/QC of packages.
• Support teams during design and construction phases; mentor junior designers.
