Job summary

US Signal Company, L.L.C. is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our Waukee, IA data center onsite. You will monitor, maintain, and support electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems, as well as rack operations and remote hands for customers.

This role requires on-call and after-hours support with 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., or 8-hour flex shifts. CJIS cert, valid license, and strong teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2+ years telecommunications or infrastructure experience including electrical, HVAC, fire and security systems.
• CJIS certification within introductory period of employment.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Facility monitoring and daily rounds of electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems.
• Preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and respond to facility and rack events within SLAs.
• Install and decommission racks; provide remote hands and customer support.
