Job summary

US Signal Company, L.L.C. is seeking a Data Center Technician for our Eden Prairie, MN data center. This onsite role supports 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., or a flexible 8-hour shift, with after-hours and on-call coverage as needed.

You will monitor electrical, mechanical, fire safety systems; perform preventive maintenance; install and decommission racks; manage work orders in Salesforce; and oversee access control. We offer strong benefits and a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2+ years in telecom/office infrastructure.
• Experience with electrical, HVAC, fire suppression and security is preferred.
• Basic IT networking knowledge and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors to maintain high data center operations.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to CJIS cert requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility systems and ensure reliability of electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Install, decommission racks and provide remote hands support.
• Manage work orders via Salesforce and coordinate with vendors.
• Oversee access control and badge issuance per company policy.
• Follow escalation protocols and incident response plans.
