Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider delivering critical data center services and logistics expertise. The Data Center Technician role focuses on installing and maintaining cabling to ensure reliable hardware networks, including decommissioning equipment and servers.

You will support high-security transport, white-glove delivery, and technical assistance for hyperscale data center operators and SaaS providers. A strong emphasis on safety, collaboration, and professional service is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license and ability to travel for business.
• Experience with hand and power tools is required.
• Familiarity with network cabling and test equipment is preferred.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Teams and email.
• Prior data center, logistics or construction exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at client sites with required equipment, PPE and documentation.
• Cable server racks by patching fibre and copper cables.
• Provide professional customer service to clients and colleagues.
• Follow client health, safety and security procedures.
• Communicate updates, delays and safety concerns to planners and managers.
• Complete daily checklists and generate daily activity reports.
