Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Data Center Installer to work in our client data centers, delivering, positioning and installing server racks to support cloud infrastructure. Safety and customer service are the top priorities as you operate inside varied environments.

You will follow client procedures, use hand and power tools, and report daily activity. The role requires lifting heavy equipment, moderate travel, and collaboration with planners, supervisors and managers.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60–80 pounds with occasional up to 110 pounds
• Willingness to travel for business needs
• Basic experience with hand and power tools and structured cabling (fiber/copper)

Responsibilities

• Arrive at client sites with required equipment and PPE
• Unload and unpack IT hardware incl. server racks
• Cable server racks with patching of fiber and copper cables
• Provide professional customer service and follow client procedures
• Maintain safety, health, and security standards
• Communicate status and delays to team; complete daily reports
• Complete daily checklists and assist with general administration
• Other duties as assigned aligning with skills and competencies
