Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician for a 6‑month assignment in Manassas, VA. The role focuses on installing hardware, troubleshooting servers, and maintaining documentation in a 24/7 data center environment.

Candidates should have 1+ year of relevant experience, basic IT knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to follow SOPs. US citizen/GC preferred. Compensation is $24/hr with day and night shift options.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT field.
• Basic knowledge of commonly used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently resolve tickets and follow SOPs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain server racks and hardware components.
• Perform break-fix repairs and troubleshoot hardware and network issues.
• Respond to operational incidents impacting service availability and escalate when necessary.
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (engineers, vendors, contractors, etc.).
• Participate in on-call rotations, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
• Create and maintain documentation; contribute to process improvements.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
