Job summary

SpaceXAI in Atlanta is seeking an Exceptional Data Center Technician to ensure the health of our server and network infrastructure. You will monitor and troubleshoot hardware, rack and stack equipment, and drive MTTR improvements with meticulous attention to detail.

You will work onsite as needed, handle inventory, documentation, and handoffs to provisioning, while collaborating with a small, hands-on team that values initiative and precise execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in server/storage/network hardware.
• Experience troubleshooting servers and networking.
• Experience in inventory management is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• 24/7 facility may require day and night shift work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair servers; rack and stack data center network equipment.
• Maintain network infrastructure including switches, optics/fiber links, and repairs.
• Manage, respond to and resolve data center operation tickets via Jira.
• Create and maintain documentation of tasks and SOPs.
• Receipt and decommissioning of data center hardware.
• Install racks, servers and switches; cabling and provisioning handoffs.
• Maintain warehouse inventory and asset management.
• Vendor returns for infrastructure under and out of warranty.
• Manage spare parts inventory within the data center.
• Define, design, and implement network layouts and solutions in data centers.
