Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in New Albany, Ohio seeks a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale environments.

You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and ensure safety and quality in line with Ericsson and customer standards. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure, knowledge of copper/fiber cabling, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience with installing servers, network devices, and cabling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and MOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and related infrastructure per designs.
• Route, terminate, and label copper and fiber cabling with proper management.
• Install PDUs, connect power, and verify connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install components, and configure out-of-band management.
• Perform basic testing, including continuity tests and FRU replacements.
• Maintain installation records, test results, and as-built documentation.
• Identify issues and escalate design or safety risks.
