Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Data Center Technician II to provide positive, proactive end-user support via phone, email, and in-person interactions. You’ll manage incoming tickets, install and test circuits, and keep facilities clean and secure while following company standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, basic hardware knowledge, and willingness to join on-call rotations. Prior NOC/SOC/IOC experience is a plus in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–4 years of experience or ability to meet responsibilities/qualifications.
• Prior NOC/SOC/IOC experience and/or data center experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and honesty with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain customer relationships with satisfaction as a goal.
• Complete installation, testing and close out of orders and hardware, with timely ticket resolution.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues and alarms with DataBank Infrastructure.
• Perform security sign-ins, escort visitors, and enforce security standards.
• Accurately log time on tasks and tickets, including Cap Labor on timesheets.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and Tour Readiness at all times.
• Join on-call rotation based on market needs and assist with audits/readings.
• Adhere to DataBank Cabling Standards and inventory controls.
• Support vendor maintenance activities and cross-department collaborations.
