Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. in Houston, TX seeks a Data Center Technician II to deliver proactive end-user support via phone, email, and on-site visits. You will handle trouble tickets, install and test circuits, and maintain security and inventory in a fast-paced data center environment.

You will work with ERP systems, follow security standards, and participate in on-call rotations to meet market needs. 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2-4 years of experience or demonstrated ability to meet these responsibilities/qualifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain effective customer relationships, with customer satisfaction as the ultimate goal.
• Answering customer phone calls and emails within a timely and professional manner.
• Complete installation, testing and close out of new Customer orders, computer/server hardware, software support while ensuring tickets/orders are resolved quickly.
• Monitor, assist and/or resolve troubleshooting technical issues and alarms with DataBank Infrastructure.
• Perform physical security walkthroughs and administer security sign-in procedures for all customers and visitors.
• Accurately capture time invested on tasks and tickets, including timesheet entries.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and Tour Readiness at all times.
• Assist with readings of equipment draw/customer audits and ensure compliance with DataBank standards.
