Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Data Center Technician II in Houston to provide proactive end-user support, manage tickets, and handle remote hands requests from inception through resolution.

You will install circuits (Ethernet, Sonet, Dark Fiber), monitor critical systems, and ensure compliance with DataBank security standards. The role emphasizes customer service, precise ticket handling, and collaboration with the Operations Team to maintain facility readiness and robust data center

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–4 years of data center experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform hardware tasks.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain effective customer relationships with timely responses.
• Complete installation, testing and close out of new customer orders.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues and alerts in a fast-paced data center.
• Perform security sign-ins and escort visitors per company standards.
• Accurately log time on tasks and timesheets.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and tour readiness.
