Job summary

Spectraforce is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician L2 to support servers and network infrastructure in a data center environment onsite in Santa Clara, CA. The role requires installing, racking, stacking and cabling servers and switches, performing hardware replacements and firmware upgrades, troubleshooting connectivity, and collaborating with network and systems teams.

You’ll maintain inventory and conduct physical audits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data center experience with server hardware and network infrastructure.
• Experience supporting servers and network equipment in a data center.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack, cable and troubleshoot servers/switches
• Perform hardware replacements and firmware upgrades
• Troubleshoot cabling, connectivity and server issues
• Work closely with network and systems administrators
• Manage replacement parts and defective hardware returns
• Perform physical audits and maintain accurate equipment inventory
