Job summary

NuAxis Innovations in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Data Center Technician I to provide onsite, entry-level support for the Albuquerque Data Center (ADC) and Data Center Operations Center. You will monitor infrastructure, assist with cabling, inventory, and documentation to ensure 24x7x365 operations and reliable service.

The role requires hands-on hardware knowledge, the ability to work rotating shifts, and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Hands-on installation, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to work onsite in a secure data center environment.
• Willingness to rotate shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident escalation.
• Basic knowledge of data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical monitoring of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, UPS, fire systems).
• Open and update Service Desk tickets for incidents.
• Assist with rack-and-stack, cabling, and equipment placement.
• Maintain inventories and documentation of equipment.
• Support after-hours operations as required.
• Escort vendors and manage access procedures.
