Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. in New Jersey seeks a Data Center Technician I to provide end-user support via phone, email, and in-person interactions. You will manage tickets, assist with installations, monitor critical systems, and uphold security and safety standards within a busy data center environment.

The role requires 0–4 years of data center experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift heavy equipment. A rotating schedule and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–4 years of experience in data center or NOC/SOC/IOC roles.
• Experience with data center infrastructure and ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain effective customer relationships, with customer satisfaction as the goal.
• Answering customer phone calls and emails within a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with guidance on installs, testing and close out of new customer orders and hardware/software support.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues and alarms with DataBank Infrastructure.
• Follow DataBank Cabling Standards and ensure timesheets are accurate and submitted on time.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and security procedures for all visitors and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
