Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Technician to ensure the availability and reliability of data center operations. This hands-on role focuses on hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, and support of mission-critical infrastructure.

You will work onsite at a data center and may participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours needs. The ideal candidate will have Linux experience, hardware assembly skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
• Train internal teams.
• Develop documentation.
• Provide technical support to data center teams.
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware.
• Maintain inventory.
• Assemble and install equipment.
• Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment.
• Travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as required by business needs.
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while scheduled on-call.
