Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs in a critical environment. You will inspect mechanical and engineering systems, monitor environmental conditions, and respond to BMS alarms to keep operations safe and reliable.

The role requires an apprenticeship in a technical discipline or equivalent with 1–2 years of related experience, good communication skills, and the ability to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Able to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to Meet the physical requirements of this role.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on equipment.
• Inspect daily Mechanical & Engineering systems and servicing tasks.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with CBRE processes and laws.
• Document maintenance activities and quality records.
