Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Level 4 Technician for onsite duties in Hillsboro, OR. The role covers installation and service of low voltage cabling, fiber, and data center infrastructure with night shifts on a 3-day cycle.

You will assist with material control, ticketing via ServiceNow, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data center or infrastructure roles, strong wiring and rack experience, and solid Windows/Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree required or three years of related experience.
• 4+ years in site/infrastructure technician roles or equivalent data center work.
• Experience with data centers, racks, and servers; smart hands support.
• Experience in network and fiber/copper patching and cable management.
• Comfort reading blueprints and cable matrices for installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and service low-voltage cabling, fiber optics, and network gear in data center.
• Maintain material control and ensure SLA-aligned ticketing and tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines and quality standards during work.
• Assist with hardware landings, rack installations, and cable management.
• Provide onsite support, documentation, and remote team coordination as needed.
• Support backup, decommissioning, and asset tracking activities.
