Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Data Center Installer to work on client sites delivering, positioning, and installing server racks to build cloud infrastructure. Prioritize safety, security, and customer service while supporting high-security transport and white-glove delivery tasks.

You will travel to various data centers, carry and install heavy racks, and follow strict procedures. Strong problem-solving, tool handling, and MS Office familiarity are required for success.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 60-80 lbs with safe technique.
• Experience transporting heavy equipment such as server racks (1,600–1,700 lbs).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at client sites on time with equipment, PPE and documentation.
• Unload and unpack equipment and position IT hardware (server racks).
• Cable server racks by patching and dressing fibre and copper cables where needed.
• Provide professional customer service to clients and colleagues.
• Follow client safety, health, and security procedures.
