Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the operations and maintenance of data centers or critical facilities. You will manage programs, safety, and compliance while coordinating with tenants, clients, and vendors to ensure high service levels.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering with substantial experience in data centers or critical facilities. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 5–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
• 10 years’ experience in Data Centers or Critical Facilities preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support management of operations and maintenance for assigned facilities.
• Develop operating and capital plans and assist in contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with tenants, clients, owners, and vendors to maintain service quality.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and update safety manuals.
• Review and approve emergency procedures and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Provide technical support across locations and during client projects.
