Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Data Center Technician in Ohio (Glenwillow) to monitor and operate our 24x7 data center infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, databases and applications.

The role involves first/second level incident troubleshooting, using ticketing systems, and coordinating escalation calls. 1-2 years in a 24x7 data center is preferred; shift patterns include 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am on a 7-on/7-off cycle.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a 24x7 data center environment.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux server operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot incidents and communicate clearly during escalations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support by troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
• Operate and monitor Windows Server and Linux based systems using established procedures.
• Monitor production environment and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Complete shift checklists and status reports; assist on conference calls.
