Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Data Center Operations professional in Philadelphia, PA, to configure and monitor enterprise data center infrastructure and services. The role includes hands-on administration of physical and virtual servers, storage, and networking as part of a 24x7x365 operations team.

The candidate will update CMDB/DCIM records, support patch cycles, and participate in after-hours cutovers while maintaining high-availability data center services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Experience with data center infrastructure, network cabling, and rack/stack tasks.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data center compute and systems infrastructure.
• Rack, cable, and decommission IT equipment per standards.
• Triage and resolve ServiceNow tickets within SLAs; assist with CMDB/DCIM updates.
• Support changes, patch cycles, and after-hours cutovers.
