Job summary

TierPoint LLC in Breinigsville, PA is seeking a Data Center Supervisor to oversee 24/7 operations, manage staff, and maintain facility infrastructure and hardware assets in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate maintenance, respond to incidents, and ensure PCI, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 compliance, while driving continuous improvement and documenting procedures and performance metrics with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years progressive experience in a technology-based customer support in a mission critical operations environment.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
• Solid understanding of the data center industry.
• Ability to coordinate projects to TierPoint quality standards.
• Ability to lead and direct work with independent judgment.
• Proficiency with common business applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise data center activities, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure maintenance, hardware management, and environmental monitoring.
• Monitor power usage, cooling, and space capacity to ensure efficiency and prevent failures.
• Maintain and update documentation related to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
• Deliver employee communications through meetings and reviews; assist with hiring and performance plans.
• Oversee and drive projects to on-time completion; plan maintenance activities.
• Oversee preventative maintenance for electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues, coordinate with TierPoint teams, and document root causes.
• Adhere to security policies and maintain compliance with PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 2.
