Qualifications

6 years of data center systems engineering experience.
Must have or be able to obtain VAPublic Trust — High Risk background.
Supervisory experience required.
Shift work may be required.

Responsibilities

Serve as senior escalation engineer for compute, storage, and systems services across data center facilities.
Lead complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation for high-impact incidents.
Design and execute maintenance windows, upgrades, and technology refresh activities.
Mentor mid-level engineers; contribute runbooks, standards, and automation improvements.
Coordinate vendor engagements for warranty, break/fix, and firmware/OS upgrades.
