Job summary

Darwin Engineering seeks a Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with project management, engineers, owners, and trade partners throughout construction, commissioning, and closeout.

Key responsibilities include managing subcontractors, leading large field teams, and applying OSHA safety practices to maintain risk

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on large-scale projects.
• Experience on data center, mission-critical, industrial, or complex commercial builds.
• Strong ability to manage subcontractors, trades, manpower and daily site activities.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with project management, engineers, owners, and trade partners throughout construction, commissioning, and closeout.

Key skills and Experience required

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on large-scale construction projects
• Experience working on data center, mission-critical, industrial, or complex commercial projects
• Strong experience managing subcontractors, trades, manpower, and daily site activities
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and construction activities against project schedules
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and scopes of work
• Experience with site logistics, constructability reviews, and short-term look-ahead planning
• Proven ability to manage safety, quality, schedule, and field risk
• Experience tracking project progress, milestones, punch lists, and closeout activities
• Strong experience working with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead large field teams
