Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Strategic Sales Engineer to partner with sales teams, understand customer needs, and design technical solutions across Honeywell technology stacks.

You will lead technical discovery, prepare specifications, and demonstrate products to influence decision-makers. The role requires deep systems engineering experience in data center environments and a proven track record in sales leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in data center sales engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record of sales leadership success.
• Strong background in application and systems engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience working with engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical partner to the Strategic Sales team throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications, system requirements, and configurations for proposals.
• Educate stakeholders and act as a consultant to drive Honeywell solution adoption.
• Lead discovery sessions, solution walk-throughs, and product demonstrations.
• Develop system architectures and integration approaches based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Understand applicable building codes, standards and regulations.
