Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a data center presales engineer to lead early-stage technical discussions, shape infrastructure requirements, and deliver optimized, scalable solutions for NTT overseas engagements. You will act as the presales lead for data center opportunities, supporting key accounts and engaging with customers to define power, cooling, and facility integration needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in technical presales, solution engineering, or infrastructure design for data centers.
• Hands-on understanding of data center power systems (UPS, rectifiers, distribution, redundancy).
• Familiarity with data center cooling concepts and infrastructure integration.
• Experience supporting RFI/RFP processes and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and develop SLDs, layout drawings, and technical specs.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to customers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to support regional and overseas projects.

• Lead early-stage technical discussions and shape infrastructure requirements.
• Act as the technical presales lead for data center opportunities, supporting key accounts.
• Engage with customers to understand data center requirements (availability, scalability, efficiency, reliability, regulatory constraints).
• Develop end-to-end data center solutions including power, cooling, and facility integration.
• Prepare technical responses for RFI/RFP/RFQ with architecture, SLDs, layouts, specs, BoQ.
• Collaborate with HQ and regional teams to ensure feasibility.
• Support sales and strategy in workshops, design reviews, and proposals.
• Provide technical clarification during bid evaluation and handover.
• Offer insights on industry trends and AI-ready data center requirements.
