Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer L1 to protect personnel and property at our Hillsboro, Oregon data center. You will manage access control, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents and complete written reports, collaborating with the Data Center Operations Team.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and active security certifications (CSG or CPO) within six months. On-site work with shift duties, including possible after-hours, weekends, and holidays, is

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active certifications such as CSG or CPO mandated by state regulations must be obtained within six months of starting.
• Prior data center or security experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper identification for employees, clients, vendors and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems to maintain security.
• Investigate and report security, safety, and maintenance conditions.
• Prepare concise administrative reports (shift logs, incident reports).
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks when needed.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with local responders.
