Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer Level 1 to support a data center environment. You will monitor access control, CCTV systems, and respond to incidents while producing clear written reports.

Collaboration with DCOPS and other departments is essential to ensure a secure facility. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in security; certifications such as CSG or CPO are preferred and should be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; security-related training is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year in a security role; data center experience is a plus.
• Active security certifications (CSG or CPO) encouraged within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Verify identification for employees, clients, vendors, and visitors on site.
• Monitor security technologies including CCTV and access control.
• Investigate incidents, prepare concise written reports, and escalate as needed.
• Maintain documentation such as shift activity and incident reports.
• Assist with Shipping & Receiving when required and support site operations.
• Follow security procedures and company policies; participate in on-call duties.
