Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer Level 1 to support a data center site. You will be responsible for access control, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and collaboration with the DCOPS team to ensure a secure facility.

The role requires clear communication, client-facing interaction, and the ability to respond to emergencies. A high school diploma and security certifications are required or must be obtained within six months of starting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in a security role; data center or similar environment preferred.
• Active security certifications such as CSG or CPO required within six months.

Responsibilities

• Verify identification for employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Patrol post and observe unusual activity.
• Manage access control and monitor CCTV systems.
• Complete incident and shift reports concisely.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with local services.
• Assist Shipping & Receiving as needed.
• Follow security procedures and company policies.
