Job summary

Core Scientific is seeking a Security Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the security systems platform across corporate, data center, and high‑security facilities.

The role requires coordinating with Site Development, design teams, and external consultants to ensure adherence to standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC2, while maintaining alignment with company security policies. Some travel to multiple U.S. locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in security management, construction, engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years in security systems design/installation, physical security or construction security management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, security tech and infrastructure protection.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk; Excel emphasized.
• Experience with electronic security design (video surveillance, access control, alarms).

Responsibilities

• Review camera, access control, and intrusion drawings for quality control.
• Coordinate with Site Development and design teams on security recommendations.
• Update the Basis of Design and ensure regulatory compliance across projects.
• Collaborate with legal/compliance to meet standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2).
• Participate in RFIs, submittals, and commissioning of security platforms.
• Oversee security infrastructure installation across sites and temporary measures.
