Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Director of Security Programs to lead corporate security programs within the Data Center Operations team. The role requires a multi-disciplined security background, extensive leadership experience, and strong project management skills to advance security processes and compliance across our facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, business, engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive security leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-level physical security programs.
• Experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, or related industries.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar security budgets.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the operations and effectiveness of the company's security program.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior management on security, crisis management, business integrity and other matters.
• Develop and maintains effective relationships with key internal stakeholders at CoreSite and American Tower Corporation.
• Collaborate with internal public affairs teams to cultivate and maintain relationships with external entities relevant to corporate security, such as government and law enforcement agencies, industry bodies, regulatory agencies, and private sector counterparts.
• Develop and drive corporate security strategies inclusive of executive security, personnel security, physical security, security technology, 3rd party compliance, etc.
