Job summary

First Coast Security is seeking a Construction Project Manager to own the physical security scope on an active data center build near New Florence, MO. This is a site-based role involving design through installation and closeout, coordinating with the general contractor, client team, and security integrators.

You will read plans, track progress, and keep the security scope on schedule and on budget, while traveling up to 20% for training and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction or capital project management experience.
• Experience managing vendors, schedules, and budgets on active construction sites.
• Proficient reading construction plans, elevations, and design documents.
• Knowledge of physical security systems (access control, intrusion, camera surveillance).
• Willingness to be on-site and travel up to ~20% for training and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own the physical security scope on an active data center site from design to closeout.
• Manage security integrator vendors against scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Read and work from construction plans, elevations, and design documents.
• Attend planning meetings and represent the security scope.
• Run QA/QC on installed security systems (access control, intrusion, cameras, perimeter).
• Track change orders and review vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Provide regular status updates on schedule, budget, and installation progress.
