Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Director of Security Programs to lead and manage corporate security initiatives across data center operations. You will oversee security programs, advise senior leadership on risk, and coordinate with stakeholders including external agencies to ensure robust security posture.

The role requires extensive experience in data centers, security technologies, and regulatory compliance, with travel up to 50% and hybrid on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, business, engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the operations and effectiveness of the company’s security program.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior management on security, crisis management, business integrity and other matters.
• Develop and maintains effective relationships with key internal stakeholders at CoreSite and American Tower Corporation.
• Collaborate with internal public affairs teams to cultivate and maintain relationships with external entities relevant to corporate security.
