Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a Security Project Specialist 1 (Data Centers) in San Antonio, TX. The role involves installing, programming, startup/check-out, certification, and customer training on diverse security projects, from small to large scale.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team, provide world-class service, and help protect client assets while growing with Convergint’s culture and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant field service experience.
• Experience with fire alarm or electronic security systems.
• Strong programming and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and service security systems.
• Provide customer training and ensure high satisfaction.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Coordinate with project manager and engineering for project execution.
• Mentor less experienced staff and support other team members.
• Assist in risk assessment and budget management where applicable.
