Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer Level 1 to support the site security team under the Security Supervisor.

You will manage access control, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and complete written reports while coordinating with the DCOPS team to protect personnel and company property. This client-facing position requires clear communication, vigilance, and the ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends and after hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a Data Center or similar environment is a plus.
• Prior experience with access control, CCTV and photo ID systems is preferred.
• Active certifications such as CSG or CPO are mandated within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees, clients, vendors, and visitors have proper company‑issued ID.
• Patrol assigned post and monitor for unusual activity.
• Maintain safe and professional work environment for client and staff.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems.
• Investigate, address, and report security, maintenance, and safety conditions.
• Complete Shift Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and other required documentation.
• Adhere to security procedures and company policies.
• Assist with security‑related requests and audits as directed.
• Respond to site emergencies and coordinate with local services.
• Maintain familiarity with security procedures and policies.
