Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers seeks a Security Officer L1 to join a vigilant on-site security team in Illinois. You will manage access control, monitor CCTV systems, and respond to incidents while producing clear written reports under the Security Supervisor.

This client-facing role emphasizes communication and teamwork to protect personnel and assets. The position requires weekend night shifts (Sun–Tue 7pm–7am; Wed 7pm–1am) and active certifications within six months, with adherence to security

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a security role preferred; Data Center experience is a plus.
• Active security certifications such as CSG or CPO within six months of employment are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper company-issued identification for employees, clients, vendors, and visitors.
• Patrol assigned posts and maintain visibility.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems; respond to incidents.
• Prepare concise Shift Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and logs.
• Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving and other departments as needed.
• Assist with emergency response and liaison with local services.
