Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Data Center Security Manager to lead physical security across multiple facilities within the AMER East region. You will drive security operations, manage access controls, CCTV systems, and incident response, and partner with vendors to implement improvements.

You will write reports, create presentations for leadership, educate occupants on false alarm reductions, and ensure compliance with corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• 1+ years of security-related professional experience.
• Experience in security- or risk-related fields.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of law enforcement or security experience.
• Experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities in the AMER East region.
• Interface with vendors for security construction, repairs, and daily operations.
• Write reports and create presentations; communicate security status to management.
• Educate data center occupants on reducing false alarms and improve procedures.
