Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to join the Infrastructure Operations team in our data centers. You will help manage and improve site security operations, focusing on physical security, incidents, and procedures.

You’ll develop post orders, coordinate with security equipment and vendors, and drive day-to-day process improvements while participating in site audits and testing new security technologies. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• 2+ years of data center or equivalent security experience (or 5+ years in discipline).

Responsibilities

• Manage physical security operations and incident handling.
• Develop post orders and define security procedures.
• Work with security equipment and vendors; drive day-to-day process improvements.
