Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Security Manager to lead physical security operations in our Benton data center. The role focuses on developing post orders, procedures, incident response, and collaboration with security equipment teams to improve daily security practices.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, resilience in dynamic environments, and proven capability in managing security programs and subcontractors while ensuring policy compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience acting as a Program Security Officer, Security Specialist, or Security Manager with duties including interpreting and implementing requirements within the personnel, industrial, and physical security disciplines and overseeing security operations.
• 3+ years of experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems (e.g. LENEL or C-Cure).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• The selected individual will be responsible for managing physical security operations, developing post orders, defining security procedures, handling site incidents, working with security equipment, participating in construction projects and to drive day-to-day process improvement activities and managing vendors.
