Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to lead operational security excellence across AWS facilities. You will interface with vendors, extract security metrics, and drive improvements through data-driven decisions while developing reports and training materials for management.

You will write security procedures, manage access control and CCTV, and work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment to ensure physical security and safety across locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors
• Experience with access control and CCTV systems

Responsibilities

• Drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities
• Coordinate with vendors for new security construction, repairs, and daily operations
• Extract metrics and drive improvements using data-driven insights

• Write and implement security procedures and training materials
