Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Scheduling Manager for a hyperscale data center project in San Marcos, TX. You will develop integrated project schedules, coordinate input from project managers, and guide baseline and time-impact processes throughout the project life cycle.

The role requires analyzing subcontractor schedules, maintaining master schedules, and reporting to management and clients. Travel may be required; data center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8 years of related work experience as a Project Manager with scheduling responsibilities.
• Data center experience is preferred.
• Independent judgment and multi-tasking are essential for scheduling leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the corporate schedule effort to industry standards.
• Provide training, tools and guidance for the corporate scheduling effort toward proven industry practices.
• Responsible for bid/proposal schedules, baseline schedules, schedule updates and time impact analysis.
• Maintain master schedules for project tasks and communicate with team members and clients.
• Interface with clients, attend meetings, and provide statistical reports.
• Develop and maintain systems showing schedule hierarchy and forecasting.
• Analyze schedule status and variance, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Some business travel is required.
